Sharps are a general purpose sewing needle. They are the most common needle found in the home and are used by dressmakers around the world.  Their short round eyes provide added strength during sewing. There are 11 different sizes ranging from size 2 to size 12, a needle for every occasion. Use the pack containing Sharps size 1 to size 5 for medium to heavy fabrics, the pack containing Sharps size 3 to size 9 for medium fabrics and the pack containing Sharps size 5 to size 10 for medium to fine and lightweight fabrics.
